The Pink Hotel / Eddie's Grubhouse (Coolangatta, QLD)
Friday, 9 May 2025 5:00 pm
Celebrate the launch of Defining Moments, a whopping 1,352-page photo book by renowned world adventure photographer Tony “Harro” Harrington. During Flotsam Festival we’ve wrapped The Pink Hotel’s fenceline in Harro’s images, creating an immersive outdoor gallery showcasing his work.
This extraordinary collection of photographs captures over 40 years of chasing swells, storms and adventure. Harro’s images have graced the covers of surf and snow magazines around the world, and his reputation as a master of both big waves and big mountains is unmatched.
The Pink Hotel in Coolangatta will host this free event which will offer a behind-the-scenes look at the breathtaking moments captured in the book, including a full chapter on the Gold Coast. There will also be a Q&A with Harro and athletes featured in the collection. Defining Moments is a rare opportunity to step inside the mind of a creative nomad who has spent decades pushing the limits of photography in some of the most extreme and beautiful places on the planet.
